Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 28, 2026

Holy Hill Chapel (“Holy Hill Chapel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is grateful you’ve visited holyhillchapeltn.org (the “Site”). We know that trust matters, especially when it comes to your personal information, and we want you to understand exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how we care for it. This Privacy Policy applies to the Site and to the ways we communicate with you as part of our ministry.

Information We Collect

We collect information in a few ways:

  • Contact & prayer request forms. When you fill out a form on our Site — such as a general contact form or a prayer request — we collect what you choose to share, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your message or prayer request.
  • Account information. If you create an account to use one of our church apps (for example, our pastoral tools), we collect the login and profile information needed to set up and secure that account.
  • Staff notification phone numbers. Pastors and staff who choose to receive text notifications about new prayer requests provide us with a mobile phone number for that purpose. See the “Text Messaging (SMS) Program” section below for details.
  • Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our Site may use basic analytics or cookies to understand how visitors use the Site (for example, which pages are most helpful) and to keep the Site running smoothly and securely.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions, messages, and prayer requests;
  • Route prayer requests to the appropriate pastor or prayer team member, according to the visibility you choose when you submit a request;
  • Send internal SMS notifications to designated pastoral staff when a new prayer request is submitted, so requests can be responded to promptly;
  • Communicate with you about church services, events, and ministry updates you’ve asked to receive;
  • Maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our internal church administration tools; and
  • Fulfill our normal internal recordkeeping as a church.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever. We share information only as needed to operate the Site and our ministry, specifically with the following types of service providers (acting as our data processors):

  • Supabase, which hosts the database that stores form submissions, prayer requests, and account information for the Site and our internal apps;
  • Telnyx, our SMS delivery provider, which transmits the text notifications described below; and
  • Other trusted vendors who help us host or operate the Site, bound to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the safety of our congregation or the public.

Data Retention

We retain the information you provide for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — for example, to respond to a prayer request or maintain our church records — unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You may ask us to delete information that is no longer needed at any time, as described below.

Your Choices & Rights

If you’d like to review, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, just reach out using the contact information below and we’ll be glad to help. Pastoral staff can also update or remove their own SMS notification phone number at any time directly within our internal app.

Children’s Privacy

Our Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

Text Messaging (SMS) Program

As part of how we support our pastoral team, the Site can send internal text message notifications when a new prayer request is submitted. Here’s what that involves:

  • We collect the mobile phone numbers of pastors and staff who choose to receive these notifications, solely for the purpose of sending SMS alerts related to prayer request activity.
  • Phone numbers collected for this program are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Message frequency varies and is tied to activity — a recipient may receive a text each time a related event occurs (for example, when a new prayer request is submitted).
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from these text notifications. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the information below.
  • To be removed from SMS notifications, reply STOP to any message you receive, remove your number within the internal notification settings, or contact us directly and we will remove it promptly.

Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information you share with us, including encrypting certain sensitive prayer request details. That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our Site and ministry grow. When we do, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
